Tourism NT wanted an innovative way to drive engagement and support brand perception with consumers and the industry on a global scale.
Keene’s answer was to develop the tourist board’s very first smartphone App – Outback NT – an essential resource showcasing everything that’s great about the NT. With interactive maps, information, videos and images, users can plan itineraries, choose where to eat, browse up and coming events and tag (and share) attractions to visit. It even has a didgeridoo feature which allows users to play the ‘didg’ by blowing into the phones voice piece!
To date, over 70,000 users across more than 30 countries have launched the App to plan their perfect NT trip. The App recently launched onto Android platforms.
